Impressions on CP3 and DDP 90hp Inj.
Well got my truck back with my Studs, "Hot" Cp3, FASS, and 90 hp DDp injectors. And All I can say is wow!!
First off, The truck runs alot smoother with these injectors and pump, not as much vibrations at idle and the power comes on as smooth as silk. The engine definatly has a different sound too it, but it is actually quieter than before it went into the shop.
The FASS must have been changed since the last time I ran one, becasue this thing is quiet!!! Only a slight HUM can be heard at idle, and only by sticking my ear under the truck. My older FASS on my '02 could be heard across the street over the 24 valve engine noise!!
As for driving, nothing seems different than before, untill you surpass 1/4 throtte, then all H, E, double hockey stix breaks loose. I had my SMARTY on Wild TM, Aftermarket turbo, injectors, SW#9. And this thing will belch the smoke, and actually runs cooler than before the injectors and pump. All I could muster last night in the rain was a 1/2 throttle run in 6th gear from 50mph-80mph, simply beacause at 85ish i couldn't keep the truck straight in 2wd, power is hard and power is now. But from 50-80 temps only got too 1000*F and I only had the turbo spooled too 32 psi.
I cant wait too dyno this thing with the Smarty and Dr.P Pedator, I think it is safe too say that If I pulled 507 on a mustang and 522 on a dynojet beforehand, that this combo will easily break into the 600+ range on winter fuel (we still run it up here). SOTP feel is amazing. I turned the smarty down too #1, and the truck felt just as fast as the smarty on #9 before the pump and injectors.

Hey Jon,, which CP3 did you get? I am getting tired of waiting for Barry to change his out, so i am going to order a new one,, trying to pick which one. Got to get it done soon, as race season starts on the 12th
