If you could get a brand new Super B turbo for half price would you?
If you could get a brand new Super B turbo for half price would you?
I lost a auction on e-bay and now the buyer backed out. I can get it really cheap now and add it with my new FASS and Van Aaken. Man! My wife's already gonna kill me. If I buy this she'll kill me after I'm dead.. But it's a great deal....
place by me sells 2 dozen long stemmed red roses for 10.99 ........ sounds like you may need an order or two! heck yeah for half price, but then you know after that you are gonna want some mach 5's .. then the tranny won't stand for all that..........
Yup that's the one. I can get it cheaper than that though. I will need a turbo sooner or later so I think I'll just get it. I'd love to get it and have it installed at the dyno day. I'm actually waiting to hear back from Tim on helping me with the FASS install. I'm sure I could do it but he could do it in 1/4 of the time...
And yes I know the trans will need a bit more work in short order... Tim's gonna be my best friend here soon......

Race Anti Defueler. It eliminates the top end and I believe the bottom end defueling when turned on. When turned off, the truck runs like normal. The only problem with having it turned on though is that you lose all your gauges and stuff.
Yeah, Racers Anti-Defueler (RAD), specifically for the SO autos. Our SO autos suffer from extreme torque management. You may not even notice it now, but you probably will once you add the VA. With both boxes turned up, you will notice the truck pulls hard in overdrive from cruising speed when you roll into the go pedal as if you were going to pass someone, but it will feel sluggish accelerating through the gears from a stop light as it defuels for each shift. You will be able to feel it giving you power, taking it away to shift, then giving it back, taking it away to shift, until the converter locks. You can watch your boost gauge go up, down, up, down, up, during this. I loose more than 20 lbs of boost with my twins at each defueling. Your single probably won't be nearly as bad. It is quite weird if you have enough power to really make it rear its ugly head and will definitely make you wonder what is going on. The more power you have, the more severe it feels when it takes it away to shift. Once your converter locks in overdrive, or in 3rd with overdrive off, the truck will take off like mad. No matter what you do, injectors, twins, stacked boxes......a 2003 SO 47RE equipped truck will not break 15 seconds in the quarter until you turn off torque management. It is a must if you plan to go to the track. TM won't affect your dyno as they will dyno the truck in either 3rd with the converter locked or in overdrive. Either case TM won't be functioning if they keep the converter locked during the run.
RAD also gets rid of the top speed limit and defuel. Allows me to get home five minutes earlier
at 184 km per hour. That 170 was just too slow. If they would only straighten the road ... I'd be home a minute earlier at 200.
