Cool I just couldn't take it.....

I had to put my muffler back on this morning. It's just tooooooo loud. I swear I've heard SPd trucks before that were loud but not this loud... Anyways, I'm still gonna get something but I'm not sure what. I'm thinking about a Donaldson muffler to replace the Magnaflow but I'd really like to know if it is gonna be louder. Anybody made the switch from Magnaflow to Donaldson before???

I just found myself going really easy on the pedal when there were cars beside me because it was just super loud. I did the same leaving the subdivision each morning. I guess I am getting old.......

Somedays, I get really tired of listening to my truck also.... After I back down my driveway and get outta my truck, the timer runs for 2 or 3 minutes... It gets annoying to me, so I gotta think it bothers my neighbors also...
I too, am getting old...

Where can I get the Donaldson mufflers?

I have the 40...it is real nice. Quiet when you want it to...a little deep rumble when you nail the go pedal. No drone towing either...

Well, my local truck supply that gives me a discount doesn't carry Donaldson mufflers. I guess I'll be ordering from airflo.com

Operation Silent Thunder was my operation, it was turned to Operation Sound Sleeper, it's part way done (I beat you putting a muffler back on Dodgezilla), I'll have the rest of it done next week.

So what did everyone do with the pipes they used? Was going to try it but did not want to spend the 96$ to see if I liked it was hoping to find a deal on one of the Genos pipe used to drop the muffler.

I just used a piece of pipe that was about 34" long and some flexpipe that was in the shed. A couple of bandclamps and it was on. I'd use something better than that if I were you.......
