HTT turbo coming tomorrow, gasket included?

Hello. It is scheduled to hit me tomorrow from UPS. Does it come with a new gasket for between the turbo & the manifold?

Thanx.

Yeap, it will come with a gasket, two nuts and bolts, two short studs for the back two holes, and a resistor plug for the electronic waste gate. At least mine did.

Good news on bolts/studs. When I put on the ATS manifold, I mickey-moused some non-matching washers that I found in my garage. Do the new bolst come ready to work nicely w/the ATS manifold?

Thanx.

They should work fine. No washers needed except for the supplied ones.

I ended up getting an HTT 62/71/13ss. I got it from Lloyd at Mid-Atlantic-Diesel. Been talking turbos a bunch with homewrecker & rip112. They love the turbo. I was going to order the 62/65/13ss. I told him I ran 4.4/level 9 daily. He suggested the 71.

Next a Helix 2.

It will work great for ya. Glad I got the Smarty it spools my 62/71/13ss just like stock on mild TM and level 9. Haven't pulled with the Smarty yet though.

I suggest running the stock gasket if yours comes with the thick graphite one...

I blew a chunk out of mine, and have been meaning to suggest to HTT that they don't supply the fat brittle gasket..

Interesting. I used the copper one when I swapped manifolds. I have a lil' exhaust "tick" somewhere.

Thanx.

I tow my GN trailer with mine(10K-12K lbs) with no problems.Cruising temps are a little higher than with the 62/12 I used to run but hit the go pedal and it lights up and maintains good egt's.I have no regrets what so ever with going to this turbo.

jmccart, get that thing on there and let us know what you think!

I have no gasket in mine now and it's great haha!!

I suggest pulling the whole manifold to swap the turbo like it mentions in the direction. It's quite a bear getting to the new back bolts, the new turbo doesn't fit by the motor mount to get over the factory studs, and you can't run bolts in the back since the new housing is so big.

Just plan ahead to pull the manifold..

Cool info, I won't even try studs then.
Thanx.
