How do the 37" and larger Toyo's ride?

I'm looking for a quality ride in some new tires. I know PJ Dirt Grips are supposedly xrayed for out of roundness and quality control.

I would really like to hear from some of you guys running the bigger Toyo MT's.

Me too brother...I just got my Toyo 37's a week ago and am very happy with them. Windows up, noise is really not even there. Windows down, it is there but not obnoxious. I like them. Not to mention they ride great and flippin claw up hills. Hey how did you extend your lift, spacers and blocks? I have a 6 inch lift myself, but want to go a little higher. Scared of body lifts but worry about driveline angle headaches I just got resolved etc....

my old 37's would ride really good(they did farly well in the mud too considering i had 20" rims and a diesel engine) and if you rotate them often you could get 30,000+ miles on them
I couldn't hear my tires on the road.....but i did have a 5" staight pipe
btw if anybody wants some 37x13.5x20's i have 4 with about 70% left on them, with rims??

I have had two sets of 38" Toyo MTs on two different trucks and one set of of 35" Toyo MTs on yet another. They are the most quiet mud tire availabel PERIOD. They ride good, look better, and work great. What else can you ask for? All tires were on 20" rims.

If you want pics Ill show you some pics..... non dodges though.. lol

Thanks guys, I'm having trouble deciding what I want to do. I just ordered some 20x10 wheels with 5" backspacing, can't figure out if I want a 37", 38", or 40" tire to go on it. I would need alot more fender trimming for the 40's, but it would really feel the wheel wells. The 38's would be easier, and the 37's would fit.

RJOS,

A weld in 1" spacer on the spring perch of the front axle and taller block in the rear. Indexed the transfer case and I have the adjustable control arms so I was able to push the axle forward some too. What size wheels do you have on your truck?

I'm running 37's on 22"..

I have ran the Nitto Mud Grapplers, and they did ok, they were just LOUD..

I'm running the Toyo's MT's now and i think they ride way better then the Nitto's and there not as loud..

I do get them trued about every 3 months, meaning i shave all the high spots off and round them off and they seem to last abit longer..

The only crap part about running 22"s is the ride and the lack of tire choices..

My fathers truck is on 37" Toyo's on 17" wheels. He truck rides realy well for it being lifted w/ oversized tires. They wear great, they are not very loud & most important. They balance out very well.

As long as these tires out being made, I will keep buying them.

That's gonna look awesome. Personally, i'd go for the 38s because of the 15.5 width. They will look much better than 37x13.5s which are nice, but too skinny for my taste. Plus everyone runs 37s on these trucks.
