I'm holding it in gear with a lockup switch.

I Dynoed my 05 with 1000 miles on it with just a TST box(THATS ALL) with it in tow-haul in OD and did 417/827 with the TST on 6-5

I had mine dyno'd in high gear... the guys at abacus just let the tranny shift to the final gear and then went WOT.

You want to dyno locked up id OD to get the best readings on a acceleration dyno. You will not be able to go WOT throttle at much under 70 mph without it dropping to drive and unlocking due to the TQ management. The best runs I did was in Tow/Haul, run it up to about 60 then drag the brakes and get the boost up a bit before you roll into the throttle. You can go to about 3/4 throttle initially then floor after the speed comes over 70 to get the HP ratings. Without a lockup switch or mods it is hard to get good TQ readings on these trucks due to the TQ management. You have to just feel your way with the throttle to get things rolling until you can go WOT. My 05 does 300/557 while my 92 with a 47RH and manual lockup will do 300/810. The 92 just gets loaded better at low revs to get the TQ readings. Good luck and have fun!

dyno

OK,I kinda figured you guys must have been dynoin in OD,just wanted to be sure.I wish I had the ability to lock in 3rd and lock the conv.that would give true numbers, but oh well.I should have some numbers soon for the set-up listed below.BTW-using my ET and hp calculators, which is probly more accurate than an OD rating anyway, the truck made 320 stock.I just wish the converter and tranny would allow you to really use all the power.

Yes my truck was bone stock except for the TST box and a set of 35" tires. The box on 6/5 did the 417-827 and on 6/0 it did 418-766

We can do anything we want to do as long as we can pay to fix the tranny

I think it was slipping little on the rollers
