Good work that looks nice
I still dont have the new Shield on my own truck.... just to busy, it's hard to watch a 4 month old and do metal work at the same time

everything is here. I will be assembling it this weekend . I dont know if it was mentioned here or not but ,Why did they put a Brillo pad in with the tubing? only thing I could think of was to give a satin brushed look but since I plan on using a buffing wheel and some ruge on the tubing to polish it up a bit. Decided it would It make a nice little thinking of you present for my wife ... She was so appreciative
Has anyone ever used the low temp aluminum welding rods? kind you use with common propane torch.I bought some last week . Since my mig welder isnt set up for aluminum thought I'd give a try for the sensor bung. Figuired it cant be any harder than gas welding or brazing.

I figured i would add to the list of people installing this intake. Definatly got to give props to ***** for coming up with this really great looking intake. Heres mine that i put on earlier this week and today i built a small shroud for it to keep it in place.

No i didnt weld it up although if i had a way to, thats a really great idea. The intake goes through the shroud at an angle which keeps the tubing from just sliding back and forth if you understand what im saying. It was just a quick idea i came up with and if i had had a little more aluminum i would have ran the one side all the way up to the radiator then maybe boxed it in. But this intake is really big and i was having problems getting it to clear the hood. This shroud bearly clears by itself. Thanks for the comments.

yellowsp700, would you happen to have any specs for your shield. Ive got some sheet aluminum just laying around, and if you had any measurments that would save me alot of time. Thanks joel
