So far on my 04.5- no load- 1250. My old bombed 95 can burry the needle @1500 if you hold her too long pulling my fifth wheel on a good grade.

 

i saw 1600 all the time when i passed people on highway. if i held pedal down to floor for like 30 seconds id see 1750 F . i saw these both on edge attitude monitor and a isspro pyro and gauge as well. as u all know that engine is toast. it had holes through the valves and pistons looked like mushrooms. all because i had poor injectors. if u have poor injectors start shaking your pants.....

 

Stock 'cept for the 35" tires, but when towing a 10k brick in the mountains I'll see 1300* about where the wastegate opens at 32# in 3rd gear. It'll hang in there at 60-65 MPH on both the Grapevine and Altamont passes for those who know them. Even though there's plenty of throttle left, I've figured that's about hot enough for extended pulls, specially when there's no more boost to be had.

1400* or so sitting on the dyno on a 90* day.

Some of your guys temps are hot enough to cook a small Chicken in no time.

 

just make sure your stix are good. i learnt the hard way. costed me $17,500 in bills now for new engine, taxes, labor and new stix....

***! I'm seeing 1450+ at WOT (just passing) and empty with Quad MM set to 0, 1, 2 or 3; doesn't matter. Guess I seriously need to look at doing an intake/exhaust upgrade. Any other ideas?

 

Wow, you could have bought a low mileage used motor for 5-10K depending on miles and been money and time ahead.

Hopefully your new build has some "upgrades" that made it a worthwhile ordeal.

Pegged at 1600 for a few seconds with stock turbo while passing with bassboat on back at 96.2mph. Had forgot and left gps on boat on, found that as max speed when I got home.Tac
