Either of the two you mention wil suit you fine. The r700 will tow a little better and a little better spool, the II setup gives a little more headroom and top end performance. But the differences are not that great; choose either and I am sure you will be happy.

I am totally satisfied with the R700's, they are great for towing. I almost went with their towing twins because I was worried about lag, I need not have worried. I would believe with your standard trans, they would even be better.

Their fit is good, instructions were not, had them on and off a couple of times, but in the end I was happy with the outcome.

I need to put my factory heat shield on the BD exhaust manifold, the boost hose runs very close, and even being silicone, I blew one wide open at the crest of McDonald Pass, at 45#s boost.... Thought very bad things for a minute or two.

I was going back and forth between Industrial Injection's S300/K31 setup and BD's, I was actually able to negotiate a better price on BD's kit, Bryan at Diesel Power Products really took care of me.

I have had a super b for a year and a half and upgraded to the R700 in April, I love the set up!! spool fast they stay cool, I also talked to a tech at BD and he told me for labor and parts they would mill the 400 to a 75 or 80mm, of course I for got how much but its alot cheaper than a new charger!!

Pretty easy to install, it took 13 hours to install 5" TBE, studs and chargers, wish the instructions were more detailed. Every thing was there when we busted the boxes open, definatly check all boxes for all parts before starting any project. Me and my buddy made just fine. Just be sure to grind out the lower valve cover where the back stud is!!! I can't remember what number it is, but it is a very important step!! As far as boost, what ever the waste gate is set at from BD, 55# I think, I had already turned the waste gate arm so mine will boost over 60#.

You should endeavor to match your components. Bigger is not necessarily better, especially where turbos are concerned.

BD r700s are well matched to your 90hp stix.

thats what i was thinking, just so many to choose from i like the super b special i have now but think the twinns would suit my needs much more,i ran a ht sps66 for a wile and it was fun, when it lit it was insane but lag was there and not so great to tow with, the super b special is much better but i think the twins are the way to go,just so many people bash the bd 700rs and praise the ind injection twins its so hard to decide,i just want the next set to be the final decision for a few years, i plan on a smarty pod to stack with the tst,but im pretty much done at the hp i want,600 is pretty much where i want to be its not just a race trk i have to drive it as well
