help with tires

It's time for a new set and i was thinking of the 2" leveling kit with either an a/t or m/t tire on stock 17x8 rims. My buddy said the 315 bfgs were a good look.?? Has anyone seed the 35 bfg m/t?? I also put 65k on my trucks year. Would the m/t ride be anyworse? Oh ya any pics?

Mt's will make you deaf! I'm going with AT's because of their better ride handling and I'm not off road 24-7!

Remember if you go with the leveling kit get the full2" spring kit and you have to get the adjustable ball joints for proper alignment i.e. caster/camber.

I am running the 315 BFG KO's on the stock alloy wheels and love them, one of my co-workers is running the BFG MT KM's in 35x12.50-17 on the stock chrome wheels and they look great. You will get less mileage out of the MT's vs. the AT's. He expects about 35,000 out of them. he rotates every 3500 miles with his oil changes. He said they begin to cup quickly if you don't watch your tire pressure regularly, I know they have less load capacity 3000lbs vs. 3195lbs.

I love my AT's they have served me well and I would get them again. It's really about what you want and how much you want to spend for the mileage you get out of them. If you rotate the AT's regularly and watch the tire pressure you should be able to get 45,000-50,000.

Either way they both look sweet.

I've got 37000 miles on a set of 35" bfg mt right now with around 20% or so of tread left. A couple buddies are running the open country toyo's and really like em. I think I'm going to go with those next. Oh yeah I'm still using the stocker wheels.

I had the leveling kit put on. It was less than $300 bucks at scwhabs. Had zero problems with it.
