Help with simple question Issopro and autometer part #s

I am about to get some guages and needed some information. I was going to get boost, pyro, fuel (in console under temperature controls). SO let me have it if you know or see some pictures if you have done it.

all right

next question. Mechanical or electric which is better in all four guages.?

Pillar

Not sure on the pilliar as I have the triple mount. Both gauges have there ups and downs. Electrical, such as tranny temp, or the pyro, has a sending unit that has wires that run to the unit, very easy and nice. Some things are mechanical, like the boost gauge (most people mix what they have) it really depends on what the gauge is vs. mechanical or not. You can't get a mecanical EGT gague (unless it mounts on the manifold) I've never had problems with either, for what you get there very worth the money. I have the diprocl, pics in gallary, and I love them. Hope this helps some

I have the Issopro boost and pyro gauge on a pillar mount on mine and am vey pleased with them.
Either the Diprocol or Issopro match the newer dash.
The choice is up to you.

You can install a combo gauge (boost/EGT) from Westach for the SRT-10 mount. It's not a perfect match to the factory gauges but it's close enough for me. You can see a pic in my photo gallery.

Same here, I modified my 3-pillar to accept 4 gauges. there are pictures in my gallery. All but the Oil PSI, and boost part, are Westach electrical.

Ok

From reading on here going with issopro or ultralite in cubby below the temp controls only. SO three guages.
Pyro 0-1600 electrical
boost 0-60 mechanical
fuel 0-30 electrical

I hear diesel manor has a cool kit and great customer service, but I have a way to get it cheaper I just need to know what all to buy. If someone has the part numbers for these guages in Issopro it would be a great help (I have them for autometer guages).
Also what is it that I must buy with these guages to make sure I will have everything needed to do this job.

thanks a lot. THis thread and other threads were a great help

I have Isspro gauges, and am very satisfied. I don't have the part numbers, but they are easy enough to find on the web.

I would recommend getting a boost bolt, makes installation a breeze. Only other items I remember were splices to tap for power, and extra wire to lengthen the trans temp wire to the sender.

I have the di pricols and love them in the cubby hole. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...CN0085-med.JPG

Here's my ISSPRO'S.

Oop's. I see Travist beat me to it. How did you get that pic approved so fast.

those look real good guys

I am leaning toward the issopros: now just left is to get a price for it all. We have good guages we now need cheap price. Great

I have the autometer ultralite ones in my 3 gauge pod in my photo gallery. They match very close to the factory ones... brushed alum surrounds with a brushed alum face almost looks white and the red needles to boot. I second the boost bolt but I have no idea what you need for the fuel pressure gauge.. I don't have one.

isspro guages are what I would go if you want to go mechanical.

I tend to like electric guages better as to ease of install though. not sure which comeout cheaper after you buy the isolator for fuel pressure and all that. autometer makes some white faced electric gauges but I am not sure at night how close the match would be. I have seen pics of the isspro and they look close. Diprocol boost gauge just looks jacked up. the gauges look like they match good other than that though.

if you want 4 gauges logical choice for you would three gauges in the cubby and one in the srt-10 pillar if you want your grap handle. if you don't want the grap handle you could use a different pillar.

If you're considering exhaust and a air intake system, now would be a good time to buy them if you can afford it. Diesel Manor, and all the other vender's will give you a package deal. :D
