Help with a programmer
 

I am new to the forum and new to owning a diesel truck. I needed the truck for my company and want to get the most out of it I can without killing the factory warranty. The truck is a 2006, 2500 megacab. My questions are what is the best programmer to put in this vehicle and are there any other improvements I should put on ? I would like to be able to adjust on the fly but I dont want to sacrifice quality for convenience. Any recomendations would be great.I am looking for the ability to improve gas mileage, improve throttle responce etc. I am not looking for the truck to be a sports car. I already have a few of those. I want it to be reliable and strong for the towing of my equiptment.

do a search for programmers....you should find a good amount of info.

I say Bullydog if it has to be a programmer....if you want a module i would also look at the Edge Juice with Attitude.

With any power adder, you WILL need gauges. No if ands or buts, you will need gauges.

Also, with the warranty its a crap shoot. Sometimes you find a dealer who is willing to go to bat for you and even install it for you. Most of the time the dealer will try their hardest to find even the slightest reason to void your warranty, even if you didnt have anything installed. Your best bet is to feel your dealer out and see what their stance is.

oh yeah with i agree...but i have a little different stance....forget about the dealer if you have a problem related to your mod...YOU pay to play! don't try to make the dealer pay for it....i wouldn't want someone treatin me like that.
