Not a bad idea, but no, I didn't pull that solenoid and don't have it around right now.

I would definitely be interested in finding out if that would work. Have you actually tried that on an 06 or 07 truck, PourinDiesel????

I am having the same problem right now. The only difference I'm only getting the low boost code. Everybody said maybe your draining your rail so I put GDP 392 kit on and still the same problem. Crimped the hose off on the wastegate and still only seeing 32lbs. max. With Smarty beta 4.4. Is it possible that an exhaust leak could be causing this. When I am pulling hard I can hear a tick that sounds llike an exhaust leak. But when my truck is idling I cant hear a thing.

When I first put my turbo on this truck I discovered that the unthreaded part of the mounting studs was too long and when the nuts were all the way tight, the turbo still was not tight up against the manifold. I had to buy a new gasket and put some lock washers on before the nuts. You may want to try that. Just pull the front two nuts off and see if you can move the turbo. You will be able to tell immediately.......

only Overbost code. running a smary currently! how should i set the WG on the smarty?

BTW boost seems low, we blocked off te wastegate on the 66 turbo, and are running smarty SW 9, flux 2. is the stock lift pump holding me back to make power? cuz this still isnt very impressive! i have a fass 150 lying around on the bench, but it doesnt seem to help.
