Has anyone switched from Hot Juice to TST?

Wondering how the tst with early twins program runs, and if anyone has done this switch from the HOT juice, particularly with the 305/555 engine. I'm curious as to the differences in running quality/smoothness, overall power, powerband, etc. Not interested in the differences in monitors.Thanks.

I switched from HOT Juice to TST R49 on my 04.5 600. The TST R49 with all of the current options can produced more overall power for sure. I ran both with and without EZ stacked. By itself for just smooth, consistent overall operations the HOT Juice was probably a little better. But the TST has so much more to offer in flexibility and potential power there is no way I would run anything but the TST as primary box. I am now triple stacked with the Smarty and the programming and timing options on the TST make it much easier to tune in an optimum combination.

Not sure on the 305 with the HOT juice, but on mine the EZ with a little pressure has helped considerably on any of my stacks. Just my experiences.

The early twins program on a 600+ makes fair amount of smoke and is a little agressive, but very strong. I normally run the late twins program on low settings with the Smarty on low settings also for daily driving. Very responsive and smooth, mileage is up pretty good too as long as I drive my age.

Earlier when I saw this thread I almost posted, "ask RamWheelsBy4" but figured it wouldn't be long before you were on here to tell him about it!

Well I have tried a few. The HOT Juice/Attitude was a very good box on my truck. Stacked with the EZ it was very nice. It just had a limit that I wanted to go above. I was told when I first started BOMBing to get the TST and be done with it and I would have saved a little money and time if I had listened. But having tried 6 different boxes and three different downloaders has given my some learning experiences and insight into how differently they can affect the same engine.

I had the Edge Juice originally (not HOT) and went to the TST. I should have started with the TST to begin with. Much more adjustability and room to grow. I need a clutch before I can really make use of the TST. Edge I was running level 5 with nearly no clutch slip. With the TST I am running 3/2 and I still get slippage. If I could only find where I put that money tree so I can get my clutch and fuel system upgrade.

As most of you probably know I have been a strong supporter of the Hot Juice, however I seem to have out-grown it. I do have the 305/555 engine and when I put the new engine in Ghost Rider last June, I tried stacking the Diablo, PPE and the Triple Dog with the Hot Juice, remember this is the 305/555 motor. The Hot Juice did not like to be stacked with any of them.

So I changed to the TST standard program and had the adjustable timing put into it, running it with the Triple Dog and now the Smarty and MP8. My other mods are listed in my signature.

It took me a while to get use to the TST functions and monitor and now I'm fine with it. As far as performance, I've never run th TST by it's self. I usually run the Smarty on #3 and crank the TST up if I need more power. The MP8 is usually off. With this stack, having the TST anything higher than about 3x2 seem to create alot of heat and looses power. The Smarty on 9, TST on 3x2 and MP8 on 50% according to SOTP produces extremely good power.

Now having said this, I think I have issues with my CP3, rail pressure rarely goes above 20K, so it looks like this spring I will have to address this issue.

This really doesn't answer your question, but maybe it is of some insite for you.
