I have the Quad box in for about 7 months and no issues yet. I do not pull anything really heavy, mostly a steel fishing boat est. 4000lb.

That's strange seeing that you have the Dynomite Diesel honed injectors!! I thought that honing them out would help keep you from having problems if you run a pressure box....

No kidding!! Don M didn't exactly say that but he does always say to stay away from pressure boxes unless you are going to run them on the lowest settings only. He said even the EZ on level 2 or 3 makes too much pressure for safety..

Dodgezilla, Actually says that his injector tips have been running for 18 months at up to 38,000psi .
Syndicate, Dynomite Hones the stock injector tip which is what it is. I guess if they say don't use pressure you are ready for some new injectors. You might be able to just replace the tips and get a set of Dons when and if available if the tips are the only problem...but I doubt it. That's too bad.....There are some used injectors out there that are ok.....check around. Otherwise its back to Cummins or Dodge for some new ones. Good Luck!! ks

My truck had 150 miles on her when I installed the quad box and around 27,000 miles the #3 injector failed and flooded the crankcase . The truck now has 32,000 miles and turns 1 year old June 26th .

You are not the only one. I am sure there are several trucks that have had injector issues when running the standard box, race box, or even the XZT. I mean there are thousands of them out there so I am sure there are multiple cases of injector problems that have happened.

Now with that said, I also know that people have had injector issues when runnin the TST, Juice, BDDL, EZ or anything else out there. I have read threads on all of them.

I have also read a lot of threads with injectors problems on Stock trucks.

It is somewhat of a given that the common rail trucks will have some injector issues. It could be caused from poor filtration, bad fuel or just a bad or weak part. I do not think that any of the failures are caused from the modules, especially if it is 1 injector? All the injectors get the same pressure and duration so if an after marktet part modifies that why would it hurt only one?

I would not worry too much about it, I would get it fixed and go on down the road, no matter what power adders you are running.

Injectors

I lost injector # 4,5,6? I did have the Bully Dog Triple dog stacked with the quad for about a three days. I was just seeing how much fun I could have and then removed it. But the injectors went out about 6000 miles later? Who knows what or why the dealer couldn't even tell me. But they fixed them.

Cracked injector #1 in Dec 2005 running a Quad standard. Got the Quad modified for the TPS wire tap configuration and reflash, cracked #s 5 and 6 in Feb 06. Even though Quad doesn't add much pressure at all, I switched to Edge J/A to avoid pressure altogether. Ran both boxes on low to mid settings 99% of the time, just hit higher settings a few times for 30 seconds or less. About a month ago, #1 hung open, washed the cylinder, galling resulted - result, 2006 long block installed. While Tech was installing new engine, discovered mucho trash in the tubes, rail, and lines. Even with OEM and FASS filters installed. Near as I can figger, the contamination is what caused the failures. I have no idea how long the crap was in there, FP was always fine. However, the new engine runs MUCH quieter than the original, even when it was new off the lot. Makes me wonder if the system wasn't contaminated from day 1, and I was hearing injector noise all this time.

Its not the pressure enhancement boxes fault. It is a problem with machining tolerances on stock Bosch parts.
