I finally got the work on why the Goodyear G164 tires were not avaliable. In addition to them being a brand new tire, Goodyear has bene on strike. However, if you talk with David and the dually stop, he knows a place that has 18 (now 12 because I just got 6!
), and could probably find even more if needed. He has been WONDERFUL to work with and that tire should be the best all around 22.5 there is. It is Mud and Snow rated, almost 11 1/2" wide, and has a really nice look to it.
I should have my new wheels and tires in by early next week so I can post pics. I won't have them on Optimus for some time, because the suspension has not yet been completed, let alone shipped or installed.

Whilst he will likely never see REAL off-roading, he WILL be seeing more than 12" of snow on a regular basis in winter so he needs the SNOW part of the Mud & Snow rating!DUHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Ya I understand I am just giving you a hard time, I personally have a straight up highway tread and they do great in the snow plus I don't have to listen to waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhh why I driving down the highway I was so sick of that after my last truck I actually set them on fire while they were still on the truck.

I am going to strip in interior of the truck and tripple coat everything with QuietCar which will reduce my dB level by 15-20dB's so it will be quieter than any luxury sedan on the highway!
HAHAHAHA! THat's funny! I know you were just giving me a hard time. One thing I really like about the Sumitomo's and what I have heard about these Goodyears is that they are very quiet. After my Nitto Mud Grapplers, anything is quieter!
