Gov Pressure solenoid
It's a $135.00 Duramax unit... but supposedly bulletproof. "last one you'll ever need'.
It appears the newer solenoids are not lasting as long as original factory units. My original lasted 140,000 miles. Replacement lasted 10,000.
But I discussed with my local parts Dept and he said Dodge parts (Solenoid) is guarantied for a yr. So I bgt one and am saving the slip and box.
Will see how this one holds up.
$200.00 gets both the Solenoid and the Pressure Sensor. Worth doing both, IMO, if it's been a while.

Even easier! Both are on the front, right (passenger side).... on the underside of the VB. Can't miss after removing pan.
Just let it drip an hr after dropping pan and removing filter. Won't stop you from getting a little ATF in your mouth/eye/ear, if you've never done it before .... but will help.
