Goodyear Duratrac tire problems

Does anybody have these tires 315/70/17? I have had to replace 5 tires for being out of round since new and still have out of round ones?
Not sure if they make them round? Had 37" MTR before and where ok!
If you do please reply! Thanks!

I've got a set of 235/85/16's. They might be the same way. Balanced twice and re-aligned and I'm still getting a vibration out of them over 55mph.

I have heard bad things about the larger goodyear tires balancing out. I had a buddy with a set of 40" MTR's on his 7.3 and he shaved them twice and finally just gave up on them

Firestone/Bridgestone offer an E rated tire of that size. With their Unit-T precision mold process, that should end your problems. I had the same problem with my BFG KO's.

Thanks for the reply! I'm done with the tires and are having them switched out for BFG'S AT! The Duratrac are horrible tires! Hope the BFG'S balance good!

Isn't that the tire that's most closely associated with the Death Wobble?

If so (I can't remember) then I would take a close look at the Michelin LTX AT

I almost went with these tires.. Glad I didn't, and opted for the Firestone Destination AT in 315/70/17 Load Range E...
