Good tranny shop in MN?

Was wondering if any MN guys on here know of a good tranny shop around here that can beef up my 48re in my 06 cummins. I have a friend that is a tranny guy but not a "builder". Power house diesel is another but I do not know if they do any installs. Any info will be appreciated.-Frog

I am not sure where you are in MN, and I don't know of any builders in MN, but I can tell you that Dave Goerend is not far from the Minnesota state line as he is in Northeastern IA. I know it may be a bit more of a drive, but his trannies are top notch and he does installs. BTW he is in St. Lucas, IA.

I would go to Goerends becouse thats what there all about , but the landlored of my old shop , had a trannie buis. and I like his work , one of his employes has a chev. with a Cuminns , not sure what trans. he put in .
Its TransAuto , Rice st. , St. Paul .
Then theres , username - Spicyjam ,here & TDR, and he's close or in Wis. and will put in a Goerends for ya.
