I am in the market for 315's to fit my stock wheels. I remember reading some where here on the thread BFG over produced there at's for the hummer and they were selling for $109 or some price around that, i was wondering where i can buy them for that price? also what size 315/??/17?

tirerack.com used to have good prices; but I think the supply has dwindled and sent the cost back up. May want to look at ebay if you're into that.

315R70/17's. Those are also Load Range D.

Call your local Hummer dealer, ask about takeoffs. I got mine for $100.00 each, Discount tire wanted $236 each.

I looked everywhere online and couldn't find anything less than about $195.00/tire (shipping these things isn't cheap). Start calling Hummer dealerships in your area and ask if they have any factory takeoffs. If you can find some, I've found (from here and calling around) that the average selling price is about $100.00/tire INCLUDING the H2 Rims.

Yep, I agree with Squidward and Kindog... H2 takeoffs are the way to go. Got the set of four, brand new, with wheels, for $500. Found mine on Ebay... looked for a set in my home state, bought them through Ebay, then picked them up locally, saving the shipping costs. You could do that and then just sell the H2 wheels since you will be using your stockers, therefore lowering your costs even more... I'd imaging you could sell the wheels alone for anywhere from $150-250... that way your cost for the tires could be as low as $250-350 for a set... smokin', eh?

On a related note, does anybody tow a 5er with the 315's? I know their load range "D" but the weight rating is about the same as the E range tires. Should I stick with the E tires or is the 315's ok. I know my axle ratio and speedo will change. My 5er weighs about 11,500-12,000lbs.

While your checking see if anyone will ship them to PA freight. the idiots on ebay all ship ups for like 300$ freight is like 100$. I'm in desperate need of tires. the best deal I could get for TAKE OFFS!!!!!! at a hummer dealer in this stupid over priced area was 1600$ thats AFTER I talked him down from 2000$. I told him he needs to get his head out of his butt if he thinks he'll get list for take offs. anywho. yeah. seriously though if you find any dealers and can give me there numbers I'll call them. maybe they will ship.

I got mine off ebay local.... $460 for the whole set, wheel and tires... NE Philly... I picked them up myself so no shipping.

It was a private sale... not a dealer.

Here is the actual auction
