Going to run extreme today

I've been using the performance tune for a couple of weeks and I like it alot with my XZT.
I'm gonna download Extreme today before work and see how it feels all day long. I'll post back with results later today...

Well I've only driven about 20 miles so far today on Extreme... and I like it even more... of course.. The shifts from the trans seem... more evenly spaced out... less hunting between 2nd and third. And I gave her full throttle only once and HOLY COW!!! Pinned me to the seat like my big block Chevelle used to... Lotsa smoke, even more power. I'm very happy and can't wait to abuse the BFG's...

Well I think I'm gonna leave her on extreme. Just way too cool. Too much fun and too much power, which is just about right.
Today was the first time I did a smokey burnout on my truck. Way too easy and FUN. Been a long time. Now that I've done that, I don't see the BFG's lasting the summer...
This power is freakin' awesome

Hopefully this isn't a stupid question, but have you upgraded the transmission at all?

Let me know about the fuel consumption on extreme tune, I personally only have run the performance, I like the fuel consumption on that tune, getting a average above 20mpg. Also is the idle better on r-19, still running r-18 why fix it if it aint broke!

I'm running the r19 tune. It was smoother with the r18. But now that I've gone to extreme, it's back to smooth at idle.
dodgetech, you're kidding... right?
My trans is done up... I couldn't imagine what this much power would do to a stock tranny. Don't know how fuel consumption will be yet...

I agree the 48re is tuff. BUT I hate the idea of getting stranded somewhere because I got to aggressive on the go pedal.
Another thing you've got to take into consideration is the difference in the "feel" of the drive once you install a high performance converter. It's like night and day compared to the stock one. Now I'm putting more power to the ground, instead of the trans eating it up...
