Just curious anyone with goerends valve body if they had him install the tc lockup wires onto there valve body. Did they get it setup to lock up 1st-4th or 2nd thru 4th? Dislikes and likes?

From what I know locking it up in first gear can lead to trouble. More times than not if you make it lock up in first or install and manual lockup switch you run the risk of twisting an input shaft, billet or not.

 

Well I think Im going to have goerend install on in my VB and its going to be a 2nd thru 4th lockup. Ill only use it when racing so which isn't all the time. How exactly does locking up the TC make it so much more powerful? Does it all all motor hp to go to the wheels? Kinda like a 1:1 ratio?

I managed to throw it out the back of my truck when i was bringin it to the shop im getting it installed at...scratched the bell housing a little...hope i didnt mess anything up on the inside..
