Goerend impressions and 1/4 time

Well i finally got my tranny in on monday and i absolutely love it! Shifts perfect pulls hard its just an awesome tranny. I really cant say enough about it. Dave was great to talk to and really knew his stuff and told me what parts i needed for what i do..I would recommend Goerend to anyone.

Now i went to the track last night with the new smarty revo to play with for a bit, alot of cars there so i could only make 3 runs....
#1 Smarty Revo sw9, Rp-3, timing-3, tq man-4 did a 20 psi boosted launch in 4x4 and ran a 14.44 @ 93 mph, 2.0 60 ft, 9.1 @ 74 1/8.

#2 I backed smarty off to sw5,Rp-3,-timing-4, tq man-4, Tst 3-0 on tt03 program and ran a 14.1 @ 94 mph, 1.9 60 ft, 8.9 @ 76 1/8.

# Same smarty settings and rp,timing, tq man same as above, Tst on 2-2 standard and ran a 14.3 at 93 mph. I broke the carrier bearing mount on this run when i launched so im sure it could have been better.

Nice times!

How come I keep reading the Smarty makes as much power as it stacked with the TST?

Looks like that is not the case for you!

Thanks..its definatelty not the case for me, I was suprised that it helped that much....and there is more left in it as my tst was defueling about 100 ft from the finish line..going to try the tnt soon.

Egts were 1450 thats when my tst started defueling so i might have broke into the 13's but my egts would have been pushin 1500...not worth it to me. Im gettin a turbo soon enough.

Probably could have gotten 13's with some tires closer to stock size

I plan on finding some stockers to put on when I go.....

Yea I would have definately been in 13s with some stockers...35's and 20s is alot of weight to get movin..

Rail pressure was around 22-23k and the fuel pressure stayed at 5-6psi (stock fuel system still)..and thanks.
