Hey guys I have a buddy with a 01 ford 5.4 gas pickup. He wants suggestions for his truck on the best chip for performance and economy...Give me opinions please. I know its not a dodge and diesel lol but its a good friend so help me out please thanks...

 

my old boss had the same truck put in the super chips didnt notice any difference in power or in mpg. just what i noticed maybe other people have seen different. hypertec i have heard makes a difference. i had a 1500 dodge and was looking for better milleage and from what i have read and seen on reviews most of the time its all in there head because they drive easyer trying to make there fuel milleage go up the biggest difference i had made was a cai exhaust and 8mm wires with a msd ignition i noticed about 2mpg difference and that was driving hard just to see if i gain performance wasnt noticable but got good mileage. the other tging to look at is most say they get like 5mpg difference wich we have all seen is never true so is 2-5mpg better worth the 500 bucks for the programmer?

 

Remote turbo from sts or supercharger. 150 HP gain.
