Geno's fuel filter cap = twisted wires?

Geno's fuel filter cap = twisted wires?
I have been thinking of getting the metal fuel filter cap with the 1/8 NPT port from Geno's Garage but there's something I need answered first.
How do you unscrew it to change your fuel filter if wires from a fuel pressure gauge are attached to it? Wouldn't those wires really get twisted up from unscrewing the cap? What am I missing here?

Put a plug on the wires so you just unplug it. That's what I did. Of course I wasn't as smart as you to think ahead and I figured it out on my first filter change......
