Which gages best match the 2004 dash
I am getting ready to order some gages for the truck I just bought and I want to get something that very closely matches the factory gages both during the day and at night with the lights on. Which brand matches the best? I am thinking about putting them in the pod that Gino's offers that goes above the rear view mirror on the top of the windshield. Is there any downside to that? Is there room to tuck the wires up under the headliner and then run them down the pillar? Any other tricks? I will be getting EGT, boost, fuel pressure, and maybe transmission temperature. Thanks!!

I have run both.
IMO, the dipricols are a better match during the day, and are of better quality then the isspro, but the isspro are a little better for night time viewing. The dipricols have a weird halo (for lack of a better word) around the center when lit up. Still, they are better for nightime viewing then most other brands i have seen. Overall, you should be happy with isspro or dipricols. The reason i am running the dipricols is to have a rail pressure gauge that matches. I didn't want to have mis-matched gauges. Isspro does not offer a rail pressure gauge to my knowledge.
In regards to your other question, i have 3 gauges on the pillar and 3 above the rearview mirror. It's kinda a pain and time consuming to get the gauges above the mirror installed, but there is plenty of room to run all the wiring above the head liner and down the a-pillar.
Good luck.

are the gauges that bright or is it just the photo?
Now, if I can just find a good place to mount the other three gauges... JK...think I'll stop for now! --Eric

I have autometer C2. The the day time is very good but the night is not a match at all. I bought them because I really like that "blue" light they put out. I have the over the rearview mirror pod, I like its location, but it is kind of a pain running the wires. Also, the adhesive likes to let go when the temps outside are really hot. Like 95+*. One word of note, if you use a mechanical boost gauge, the nylon tubing can get pinched or bent in the back of that pod housing because there isn't enough room for the fittings that stick out. Don't ask me how I know.
