Fuel mileage from smarty while towing. CR only please.
Common rail trucks only please.

Only those who tow with a smarty please respond.

Want to find out if buying a smarty for my common rail 06 will gain me any fuel mileage while towing.

Do not care about power gains or mileage gains non towing.

Do not want hear say or a friend of a friend thing. I only want your personal towing numbers.

Please, hand calculated mileage only. NO OVERHEAD READINGS.

Only towed once (roundtrip) with the SMARTY (level 5) and didn't see a change in fuel economy.

I voted 2, but while towing, I'm getting a solid 1.5-2.25, depending on my foot and w/ the Quad box off. 14-15.5mpg towing my boat or my 28ft. camper.

with my 34 foot 5ver @ 12500-14000 pounds i was getting 12.5-13.5, i pulled it for 600 miles the other day, and got 15.92 mpg. I voted for 2 mpg increase.
