Fresh Tranny...

First, I owe a big thanks to Dusty and Marianne at HTS. They hooked me up HUGE. Last weekend at the sledpull my tranny did a couple of things I thought was weird so I called them up on Wednesday and asked if they had room to work me into their schedule to freshen it up.

I worked Thursday and left town at 5pm. I got to MI at 4:30am, got 3 hours of rest and got up and helped the guys tear my tranny apart. With over 30,000+ miles of beating on it with scary larry and the tq man. off it looked excellent. I wanted to make sure it was in top notch before I make the next jump in power and it is. He has made alot of improvements since I had one of his early ones. It is AWESOME. It shifts SO smooth, no downshift clunk, it will downshift with the tc locked, plus some other goodies..

We were back on the road again at 4pm and arrived home at 4:30 am. I can't say enough for the trans and the hospitality HTS has always provided me. This is in no way and advertisement. I just wanted to let all of the fellow dodge owners know how happy I am and the service they can expect to recieve. The 12 hour drive is a little long but I'd make it again in a heartbeat just to see the gang... Now it's time to throw some fuel at it and some RPM's!

I thought I had a good Suncoast source close to me in ATL but, that turned out to be a JOKE! Had I have known.... I'd have probably make the same kind of trek you did. Hopefully it holds us now.

tritont,

If you have any problems with it again make the trip to Michigan! Everyone needs a road trip every now and then....

There's also a dealer in VA. Closer to home...

What was your tranny doing? It seems like mine is dragging when in OD. I let off the go pedal and it slows down more quickly than normal. Anyone have an idea what it could be?

Dusty hooked me big time after toasting 2 trannys built by a so called sun coast dealer and diesel hot rod trans builder here in los angeles, I decided to ship mine to dusty all I can say is OH what a feeling the trans is soo good I would not know what better is !! not only is the performance KILLER the end results are what counts my transmission is still not missing a beat after some serious hammering street racing and also LACR 1/4 mile mashing and also several dyno pulls every time I drive its hard to behave the trans just puts every last drop of power to the ground, I still cant get any slips misses or problems that included even some heavy towing also Big thanks to HTS ...........
