You may just need to tighten the 3 bolts up on the back of the pump.

That plug is essentially the same as the cylinder head on the engine. It serves two seperating fuel dynamics. First supply fuel is routed to the delivery valve, under the plug. If the leak is low pressure, than a replacement "O" ring will do the trick, you can even stack 2 onto the plug. If it is a high pressure leak, then the delivery valve is not sealing. I know John, personally and we do our mods in the same manner. I will call him and see if it is alright for me to PM you and tell you what to look for, and how to fix it, if it isn't the "O" ring.

This may be a problem with one of the torque bolts? A buddy of mine had the kinda the same problem, what happen was when the pump was machined the mill just took a small nick out of the threads, Result was that the pumped leaked really bad, but it did this from start up with the new pump, not over days, John over nighted him a new bolt and problem fixed, I hope this is differant cuz John thought that there where only a few out like that and fixed. Goodluck,

Hi Chris,

I want to thank you for the way you posted this issue for all of us to see, you did so in a manner posting facts but you did not post in anger, bashing the vendor.

This should be a lesson for all of us.......these forums are for information and not to bash a vendors products. Thanks Chris for keeping it on topic
