I am looking to buy some chrome or stainless steel fender trim for my 2004 2500 cummins. I am concerned that the cummins logo is positioned to close to the edge of the front fender wheel well to accomodate the fender trim with out moving the cummins logo.

Does any one know if the cummins logo position is an issue, does it need to be moved or is the fender trim made to accomodate the logo position. Also where can I get the fender trim.

i have the genos trim, yes the logo needs to be moved. it is easy, just doubleside taped on. there are several methods to removing it. some use fishing line is a sawing motion, I just gently pried with a putty knife until it came off. then you can use wd40, goof off, etc to remove the glue. alittle heat from a hair dryer speeds it up. look in the gallery, there are pics with the trim on.

put a real good coat of wax on the areas to be under the trim.

 

Like previously stated, the logo needs to be moved. Be careful because those plastic emblems brake easy. I broke one on my old truck. Fishing line works the best. Use a citrus based adhesive remover to get the adhesive off.
