Did anyone notice a mileage gain with a FASS installed? It would be going on a 06 mega with 6 speed CTD. Curious if it is worth the money?

 

Not on mine.Seemed littel lower mybe i was driving it harder dont know.

 

A fuel pump will not effect milage one way or the other.....until it quits.

 

I thought the FASS had a air sperator that was suppose to increase mileage?

 

This is more geared tward Big Class 8 trucks......BUT concept is the same. Bruce from Diesel Injection of Pitt. wrote this artical on our system. I dont think i could explain it better.......take a look....

 

Hate to be the odd man out but the air must have been substantial in mine becouse I only ever go by the overhead and I know that the same trip 1000 miles long netted me about 2 1/2 miles per gallon. That is on the same trip 2 weeks apart and had the FASS installed after I got there. Im not going to complain. Thanks fass.
