FASS has no power
FASS has no power
I just put a fass hpfp 95 on my truck, went to prime it and nothing. I've triple checked the plugs, There good. Fuses are good. I thought the pump might be bad so I jumped 12 volts directly to the pump and it fired rite up. is it possible that the relay is bad? how do I check it? Any other sugestions? Any help would be great.
I just got it working. Two of the wires were swaped going to the relay. I took it out for a quick ride and wow this little pump is loud. It has about 18 psi at idle but I can pull the pressure down to about 4 on a WOT run. Is that normal and is there any way to quiet it down?
double check your hose connections from the tank to the pump. You maybe pulling air into the pump and causing cavitation/noise . What is your full filter system like? I have tank -> FASS 95/95 -> 7 mic in stock location -> 2 mic 0749 cat and I see 15 psi 12" before the Cp3 at idle and 13 wot with edge on 6 (my EGT's don't look pretty) so I don't play there much. Normal driving I don't see much below 13-14. Is there a pump still in the tank? It's hard to pull through I would think if it is still there.
