Extra $2k - Dont ask...what should i get next?

Big supprise as $2k fell in my lap (still have to fight the wife with spending it on the truck, but i'm bigger so i'll win! )

What should i do next based upon current mods:

F1 Flux 1.5 (70hp?) Injectors and II CP3 Stage 1 = approx $1800 installed
or
HTT 62/65/13ss = approx $2200 installed

Leaning toward turbo as i'm concerned getting injectors / cp3 mod prior to turbo will cause me to be out of comfort zone on EGT's (they're currenlty ok)....more power with overall drivability / reliability is the goal...end goal for power is 500-550hp.

Thoughts?

Turbo. You wouldn't be able to utilize the extra fuel without a turbo. You also don't need injectors or cp3 to reach 500hp, but do need a turbo to do it effectively.

That's what i was thinking...but considered the injectors to help minimize issues with increased rp....

In regards to saving it for gas...forget about it....i can cover the gas...that's no fun!

OK, turbo it is....was leaning that way anyhow....

Anyone disagree with the HTT 62/65/13ss for 500-550hp (probably just smarty + ad150 + turbo + Flux 1.5's at some point in the future)...it's an auto, otherwise i'd get the 62/71/13ss....

I don't disagree with it, but if you plan to add the injectors still at some point in the future, I would go with a 64/13ss. As for 65 vs 71 on the exhaust side, I'm not 100% sure. Dad has a 64/65/13 and it spools pretty much just like the stocker did. He's got Smarty, mp8, GDP, John's pump, and he could really use a little more air and wishes he would have went with the 71 wheel. I don't know anyone with that turbo so don't know how much that affects spool. If you plan to do injectors, I guess I would suggest the 64/71/13.

I agree. Get a HT HTB2. Can upgrade the wheels and compressor housing later, if need be.

You don't need anything bigger than Flux 1's for what you want to do and the 62/65/13ss will handle them with ease I would think.
