Red face

Ya must have hit the lottery or something!
We could have put all that stuff on your truck in my garage and it would have only cost ya $50 and some beerz.
It's where all my chapter guys do their work. We work on trucks and drink beerz.
Living on the West coast sure is expensive. If you ever come to MD look me up we'll drink a few.

I am speech less but to say you got taken to the cleaners is an understatement. You ask where it was the worst?? It was where they let you drive that monster out of the garage without doing the transmission and turbo but who specified all of the options that they did install???

After all the commissions they got for the parts they should have tuned it for free and they must have miss tuned it anyway since it was a melt down. DO you have any pictures???

Lesson learned I'm going to be working on my truck for along time to come to recup this beat down. Pour one for me.....

I dont have any pictures and the truck is back at that same shop. I'm going to let them tell me what went wrong ask the guys on the forum what they think then go back with all the ammo I got.

Let me get this straight. You are paying them to build you an 11sec truck and out of all the parts they put on your truck there are only a few that add any performance. Maybe I am reading this wrong, I see the intercooler, CP3, and Xlzillaraider module are power adders but where are some injectors and a turbo or even a programmer. I think you are currently looking at 14 second truck not an 11 second one. I would think you could easily prove that these guys knowingly took you for a ride. I say sue them and recoup some of your money.

Labor killed you... Parts cost wasn't much better.

Fueling 30.0 L/minute =$2460.80
Fueling Duel CP# Pump Drag Race V5$=5889.66
pump plumbing=102.30
mounting and pump hardware=69.54
Tune=495.00
External wastegate=$1,574.84
Exausht manifold machine 2"=$297.55
cummins 2 piece manifold=479.19
engine to exhaust manifold gaskets=128.88 )
Manifold to Turbo gasket=59
freight in 169.10

I don't even know what any of this stuff is for??? Dual cp3's with some fueling thing and plumbing and tuning for $9000.... huh? what did they tune? And they gave you a mild performance Quad box (Xillaraider) which may give you 100rwhp? Ask them why?
And what did they do all this exhaust wastegate stuff for? Ask why and get specific answers so we can tell you what to tell them. The also robbed you with the gasket prices.

OE ATF4 3?@41.63 =124.89
rear diff cover =233
front diff cover =249
gear oil 4@28.80=115.20
diff friction reducer=4@17.98=71.92

center support 2004 3005=437.55
component suspension box=129.10
freight in= 59.00
cumputer tune alignment=150
Everything here is WAY over priced. They charged you $1118 for suspension front, then they went ahead and charged you again for front springs? and shocks? Ask em' what the $1118 was for and have them show you exactly the parts.... Man am I p'oed... If I were you I get a couple of buddies and pay them a visit and bust them up real good. It's not even my money or truck and I'm mad...

I'm going to let them tell me what they need to fix to get my truck up and running. then ask you guys on here how I should deal with thier answers. I'm then going to ask them to justify every piece of metal and plastic they put on my truck. I'm going to do this in a nice and well manner way. I'm then going to tell them I'm going to post thier invoice on every forum that I can find in the united states of america and ask if I got a fair deal. I'm then going to the California Automotive Cunsumer Agency that they belong to and file a formal complaint. Then I'm going to build the most off truck this side of the MISS and show up to every event they attend and let people know how they treat thier customers. After about a year of building the nasty machine and meeting cool diesel performance folks here and in Ornage county I might just start a diesel performance shop right here and put them out of business. Yeah I kind of like that idea....

Sounds like its time for a Lawyer. Even they dont rip you off as much. Close though. Where I come from when ya spend that kind of money you get a deal on the parts. Something like cost plus 5 or 10 would be about right. Sure they have to charge for the time but even that should have been at a discounted rate.

It's easy to get real PO'd, but at least your going in there with a level head and even temper. Might want to write your specific questions down just so you don't get upset and forget some. Don't let them see your list.

At least your not scared of the diesel game, these trucks are a lot of fun and if you get past this, you'll be all grins when you build the truck the way you payed these fools to. Best of luck to you.

When you get all this sorted out and finally get to "road trip" that thing and if you make it up to Nor. Cal. Give me a holler. I would like to see that beast of yours. I live near Tahoe... We can drink beer, swap stories and work on trucks And I won't charge nearly as much for labor
