I just put my tip on and it does not look as good as yours, my mega must exit different then your truck cause mine stick's out a little far. I will probably bend my stock exhaust to make it exit on the corner like yours.
did you weld yours on??

I like the idea of having the exhaust come out at a 45degree angle. Less soot on the bumper.

$60-65??? Here is the email I got back from Hog when I emailed them for a price for that 4"-6" 24"long tip:

Benjamin:

Thank you for your interest in our products. I only have about six of those tips left in stock and it will be about sixty days before I get another shipment. The cost for the tip is $115.05 plus shipping. However, I have a very large supply of the 6” x 20” tips in stock due to a recent shipment. That one sells for $96.91 plus shipping. If you want to order, please send me your shipping and credit card information, or call me at the 800 number listed below and we can do it over the phone.

Best regards:

I got that same message when I ordered mine so when I called them they gave me a heck of a better deal... I was surprised because I was ready to pay $115 and then it came to 80-90 with shipping. But they may of had a surplus of them..

Also try Gus at farmboydiesel.com.. I got my dual system from him and I loved his 4"x6"x24 tips better than the hog tip.. They bottle-necked down and the hogs just rolled down into a 4" pipe... You won't be going wrong with the 4x6x24... Plus Gus got me the tips for $65 a peice if I remember right... The whole dual system shipped to my door was $500.

They are the same, I had mine welded to the corner because when the truck goes in the garage the pipe exhausts to the outside insted of the garage inside corner.
The cut and weld were about where the pipe goes up over the axel.

Can you please take some pics of the cut and the weld so I can see exactly what you mean?? I really like the way yours sits!!!

I was thinking I would have to heat up the stock tail pipe and bend it where I want it?

pics please!!
