Drove to work about 35 miles today, smarty on #9 wild, no problems what so ever. Pulled up to a light, turns green and I punched it so I could get around the guy next to me. Truck took off and started to die, watch rpms drop, let off the trottle about half way, got power back and never did it again. What do you think happen, did I drain my rail or what?

 

youll drain the lift pump before the rail. You need the a gdp pump or a fass.

 

Can you just buy the lift pump alone with out the filters and if so does it mount inside or outside the fuel tank.

 

both outside the tank, both can be without the filters. I would run it through the stock filter into a gdp 2 micron filter.
