Im looking into getting a sp diesel Eliminator. I dont have gauges, and dont really want gauges since its my wifes dailydriver.

I do have a hand held egt and spare boost gauge. if use them to get the "eliminator" setup safely and then take them back off. as long as the setting stays the same i should have to worry about gauges correct?

Wrong. Many things affect EGTs. Humidity, elevation, barometric pressure, weight of right foot ect.

I don't see how gauges would be out of the question if your wife uses it as a DD? Teach her to read gauges.
