For the ones thatcould be interested in how the egts are with upgrades or not. The beginning of the video is just level 6 from 55-about105mph in 4th with tq lock up, then it goes strat into a burnout 0-65 mph, then again to about 50 or so, then a 0-65mph run WOT. I think my injectors are limiting me or the level 6 is just to hot for my truck. It is short and bear with it. Temp when I done this today was about 45*. Let me know if you have any questions.

 

your egts climb just as fast as mine. whats that sound when u let off after brake torque? is it something with turbo barking? if so mine doesnt do that

 

It is the turbo trying to slow down. Yours won't do that with its small size. This is a Htt 66/71/16ss alot larger than stock. Here is a size comparo between the two.


Egts even climb faster with Mp-8 but only on level 6. On anything lower never gets above 1350*. I love my Edge and can only wish in the future I could stack it with a Smarty.

 

my buddys duramax will do what yours did. so its the turbo slowing down or bark they cal it?
