Edge/TST/Quad connections
Has anyone ever wondered why the companies that make the boxes that connect to injectors, map sensors, cam/crank sensors, etc. don't use the factory harness connections like they do on the Duramax? I've seen, in particular, the way the Juice connects to a Duramax and a Cummins. The ease of installation on a Duramax seems to be far ahead of that on the Cummins since there are only two connections to be made. Is there any reason that they would prefer to connect to the sensor inline at the sensor connection instead of at the main harness connectors?
Any thoughts?

I've run the EZ and now the Quadzilla box and I can install and remove them in just a couple minutes. Pretty simple to say the least. Maybe there's a problem going into the main harness on the Dodge...
Porbably a cost standpoint is all. It's hard to get at the injector connectors on the V configured motors so they go to a PCM connector as it is much easier (right over top of the driver's side valve cover). An injector connector probably costs around $1 and the PCM connector is more like $15, if it's not proprietary. It's also a lot harder to get at the PCM connector on the Dodge than it is the injector conector. They are intercepting the same signal and modifying it the same either way it connects so it must be just cost I guess.
Just my thinking on the matter.
