There's been enough problems reported about the Edge boxes that I wouldn't consider putting one on my truck.

Edge products are a common denominator in posts reporting driveability/fueling system issues.

Chances are you'll be OK... you can save yourself a lot of trouble if you have a fuel pressure gauge!

When did your lift pump and VP44 quit?

Well for starters my lift pump took a dump then sometimes on start up it's really bogging down and sounds like crap. and I get abunch of codes but nobody seems to know what they are. it's running go right now, but when this all happens again i'll keep a record of the codes and give you all a hollar to figure it out

My buddies backlight on his screen went out and he called edge. They told him to sent it in for repair and they send him a whole new one. I would just call and tell them what is going on. They seem good about sending new ones out. It may take a few days to get but it might be worth it.

The only real problems you will have is not enough fuel pressure, and that will be with any box that taps the pump. Just add a second lift pump and no more problems with fuel pressure. Just double check and recheck all your connections.

Well, don't be shy - go ahead and flame the other one (inquiring minds want to know!)

Hmmm - so much for the free flow of information back and forth.

If a part failed to function as expected/promised etc. for me, I would consider it my duty to help other's make the same mistake.

No worries, though - there's lots of box problems archived already to form a statistical base.
