Question By by Edge . . . give me some Smarty stack ideas

Okay, so I'm going with "real" gauges now and going to pull off the Edge JA and sell it. When I get the transmission built and the fuel upgraded (Goerend and AD150 both going in at the same time), what would be something I could run along with the Smarty? Looking for something that's easy to install (and uninstall) and will give me an extra boost without sucking TOO much extra fuel (as in, as long as my foot doesn't lose too much control)? Suggestions? Anyone stacking something with Smarty on an '06 auto? Thanks.

For an 06'

Smarty and TS-MP8.

Be ready to tune a bit to find the settings that suit your truck the best, its not hard just takes a bit of time to get everything dialed in.

Can anyone point me to a good read (or help me via PM) on getting the truck "tuned" correct once I get it built and stacked (so-to-speak)? I'm not sure exactly what I should be looking for other than my buddies saying, "Yup, sounds real good. Yup, runs good. Yeah buddy, she's faster'n my sister . . . " Have poked around the search feature here, but there's so much stuff that it would take me hours to find a good "guide to tuning".

http://www.springfielddyno.com/ go to the dyno. Tune in a smarty program. Do a run....COOL OFF. Change settings...Do a run...Find your best SMARTY setting. Cool Off!!! Then do the same with the MP8 on top of the smarty. See if you can get an hourly block. 2-3 pulls will not be enough to properly tune. I can say that with the help of my crew here (Some of the fastest diesels in the EC area) we tuned it by ear and rear...then verified on dyno.

Funny. I'm actually sitting in Springfield, MO right now since I work down here every week. Unfortunately I don't drive my truck for work or I could use their dyno easily.

Anyone know much more about the program for the iPhone and iPod touch that calculates HP? From the initial posts I saw it's fairly accurate. Maybe a relatively inexpensive way to figure out what I'm doing?

How much for the juice? Will it work on an 07 5.9?

Haven't figured a price for it yet, but it'll be sold at or below the going price for a good used Edge JA setup. I don't believe it'll work on the '07, though someone can correct me if I'm wrong (maybe it'll work on the '07 5.9?).

IMO the MP-8 is one of the simplest and most beneficial stacks for the Smarty.

If I had money to experiment these would be the first on my list:

Quad Race
