Edge/Attitude monitor mount???

After my Banks vs Edge post you have all convinced me to go with the Edge/Attitude. I will be installing next saturday if all goes well. I have read about a visor mount for the Attitude monitor but can't find a picture of it. Supposed to mount in the upper corner of the windshield I think. Does anyone know where I can see a picture of this in a truck? Can anyone who has used this method give me their opinion of it? Thanks.

I would like to see it mounted up in a truck as well. I saw a picture of just the mount, but I dont think it did it justice.

The one I am talking about mounts in the upper left corner of the windshield. By the sunvisor I think. It is different from yours but thanks.

I also have the pillar mount like ftltmp. It is really nice because it puts the Attitude in a good spot to see and to use the buttons. And the pillar piece matches the factory perfectly

Booger,

It was one of the Sponsors here that had the one like you're looking for but I can't remember which one. You can also get the color matched A pillar mount or the overhead mount for the Attitude that are very nice. We have pics of them on our site if you want to look at them.

I have the over mirror mount and like it much better than the add on pillar mount. why they don't make a full pillar baffels me. I have not seen the the mount you are talking about but it sounds interesting.

hognutz,

The A pillar mount that we have is molded in the same color as the stock A pillar, and we felt it would be better if we did a 1/2 pillar as it let you keep the grab handle. So many folks don't like full A pillar gauge mounts as they loose their grab handle.

redspider,

That's the one Hognutz was posting about, we sell tons of them as they are totally out of the way for vision blockage and the Attitude is very easily seen while keeping your eyes on the road etc.

I put mine on top of the steering column. I'm used to looking at the guages down there and it sits right in front of the speedo.

No I have seen what you have. It looks decent but still looks like an add on. I meant a whole pillar with grap handle and all. one piece as if it were there right from the factory.

it would proalby be cost prohibitave to do though from a design stanpoint I just think it would look a little better. I know, I know i am being to picky. I just like mods that don't really look like mods.

I like the over the mirror mount though. I mean you look up there anyway.

I think this here is the best place. Easy to read and easy to change the levels. just everything with your left hand as it rests there on the window pane.
The pic is from sitting in the driver seat nomal, so thats the view i get.

I used the over the mirror mount and painted it to match, I like it. It's dark out now so, I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and post it.
