Dyno'ed REVO TNT

Keep in mind guys, I still have stock sticks and cp3, so no huge # 's here but I was a little dissapointed in the TNT on my truck by it self. Last year w/ TST/EZ did 508/1015 this time when like this.

TNT REVO
Sw 7
Wild
stock inject
Rail -3

>1 462-967
>2 461-961
>3 458-929

Then for the heck of it turned the TST back on 3/1 with Smarty on 8 with timing off and did

503-936
493-911
493-919

This was on Dunbars's dyno. Smarty only curve was very smooth and had no dips in rail pressure but the TST was draining it as it has the stair step look to it. I really think some sticks and maybe another Cp3 is in my future.

What did your rail pressure do? Max vs what it pulled down to, just curious...

Had my EZ still hooked up, I kind of forgot it was still on there. It was set on 2 and I had rail press. on smarty on 3. I saw max of about 26.5k on street with it like this. I dont know what it pulled down to but on the street my quad guage only drops to like 24k. Who knows what it dropped to when the TST was on cause the graph goes up-down-back up and down. but the smarty graphs are pretty smooth curve.

What setting is everyone running the timing on? I usually run mine on 3 with no injector knock but was wondering what everyone else is doing? Also the guys with a smaller est of sticks what do you run on? I guess just run it till I hear a knock? How much more power will you get out of each setting from timing level 1-4?

I think the Smarty stuff is awesome... the EGT's are great. But I dont' think I'll ever just run the Smarty... I really like my TST R49, and I'll continue to use it to dial in my combo.

and I'm with you... another CP3 is next on the list and will open up a lot of doors as far as drivability and powerband are concerned even without increasing peak power

Just ordered a dual cp3 kit. Will see what it will achieve with Smarty alone/ TST alone/ then the two combined/then combined with water/meth injection. I'll have 9 dyno runs for tuning in June.

Right now I get the best power (feels like the best, that is) with the following:

Smarty TNT/Revo:

wild torque #4
stock shift
rail pressure #2
stock injector timing (even though I have aftermarket sticks)
catcher #7

TST Powermax CR R49:

HP#3/torque#0 (all else is off except I am on the early twins fueling program).

With these settings I have no glitches, no rail pressure limits, and only smooth, constant power. Tried aftermarket injectors (not "huge" injectors) and did get a popping sound. Lack of fuel, I presume.

I loaded level 9 and the smoke is extreme and another thing I noticed is that if you are really after the throttle that when you let out to shift that the rpms with not drop and sometimes they jump up maybe 1 or 200 rpms. Make its very hard to drive, so i think I will drop back to 5 or 7 and leave well enought alone till I get some sticks and a cp3
