Dyno Numbers??

All right I have an appoitment to dyno my truck at the beginning of Febuary. I have an 05 6spd 3.73. I have the edge juice with attitude and the bully dog power pup. Before I go to the dyno I am going to download the crazzy larry version. I was wondering what you guys think I will put down with the crazzy larry and regualar juice. keep in mine I have stock turbo and clutch for right now. I am thinking I will be somewhere in the 450 horsepower and 900 foot pounds of torque. Any of you other guys have any guesses?

I'd be carefull with that stock turbo, that stack has the potential to fuel pretty hard.

I put down 420 hp with my stock turbo with the WG opening at 35 lbs, in a few seconds it got quit toasty over 1450degf.

Well to tell you the trutch when I have the bully dog on exteme and juice turned all the way up the max egts I can see is maybe 1275 occasionally 1300 and that is pre turbo in the manifold. So I don't know for some reason my truck runs cooler than others I have seen. As for the turbo though I know it is huffen I need to get a new one before I start pulling.

1250 pre-turbo = over 1600 pre-turbo (WHERE IT MATTERS). Your truck is not running cool, I assure you.

Kman, I think you will pull down your fuel supply. If you aren't running out of fuel then your boxes aren't working and that is why you are running cool. My TST used to run really cool on 7 7 before I got FASS but that was because not enough fuel was getting delivered for the timing. What is your boost running at. To get 450 hp you'd have to be popping over 40psi. Let us know what the numbers are...maybe you have found the perfect mix of timing duration and fueling. ks

I can get over 40 pounds of boost with the stock turbo. I need a bigger turbo and a FASS system definatly. But I will assure you with the bully dog turned up to the 130 horse setting and the juice turned to the 100 horse setting I am breaking the tires loose through 4th gear sometimes 5th if the clutch holds. The highest max egt I have seen is 1300 and that is WOT untill about 75. Now if I downloaded the crazzy larry setting which I haven't yet I don't know what my egts are gonna due probably sky rocket. Or maybe my egt probe is messed up but I don't know how I am in the same range as everybody else when cruizing 70 mph about 550-650 degress. Now To answer my question what do you all think my dyno numbers will be with that setup being mostly stock, to tell you the truth I would be happy with 425.

I'm pretty certain somethings not quite right with your pyro reading Double and triple check your pyro connections and make sure they are really tight. I had one of mine that I thought was good (on the TST) but when I added a analog gauge to verify my seemingly low EGT's (knew it was too good to be true) I found about a 20% disparity. So I swaped Pyro leads and found one of the screws was stripped, though holding the connection together it was reading that 20% low.

With TST single program on 7X5 and my EZ on lvl 2 I put down 464 HP 10103 TQ
With those same settings I ran 15.1 in the quarter with a 6spd with me and truck weighing in @ 8400lbs boost was reading at the maxed out limit of 40lbs, didn't have the analogs in at the time. Really supprised my turbo is still alive

I also had a bad connection on my TST pyro. Took off the heat shrink wrap and put on the warranty free pyro and replaced the heat shrink tubing with a longer piece and all is ok. I got low readings at times when it was wet and sometimes wacky high...1700 at idle. Most times it was ok . I'd get a separate pyro put it post turbo on a gauge. That is what I'm doing. ks.

All right I went out to check the pyro and everything seems to be good. You guys may be right maybe something is wrong with my pyro. I was thinking about adding different gauges. But then again maybe something isn't. I was wrong about the 40 pounds of boost though the max I can see is maybe 40 at in the top of 5th gear most the time it stays pegged between 34-37. As for the pyro I did a few test today I turned all the chips down and did a WOT until about 70. Egts ran up to about 1150. Then I turned the bullydog on performance and juice all the way up and did the same WOT until about 70mph. This time I got almost 1300 out of it but that was it. I know the most people with the juice normally see about 1200-1300 degrees regularly maybe just the Bully dog is a good stack I don't know. But then again I am not stupid enough yet to download the crazzy larry version to my truck and run it with the juice. Then I think I will be in need of new turbo, clutch, fuel system, and on and on. But then again maybe my pyro is wacked but in all other readings it seems to be fine. normal cruizing it reads anywhere from 550-700. the lowest I have ever gotten it to read is like 289 and that is sitting there letting it idle down for about 10 mins. What else can I look for?

Back to the main question. I do believe that the numbers you ae thinking are about what you will see as far as 450+hp and around 900ft/lbs. If you already ran it and I missed that post... What were the actual numbers?

I am still running stock turbo, Fuel, and injectors and I know I am pushing everything to the point of breaking, but I hit 604hp anf 1193trq.

Well I think I am gonna leave the bully dog on the exteme setting and juice on level 5 for this dyno just to make sure nothing breaks. As far as the dyno no I have not went we go FEB 11 at noon. For anybody else that wants to come it is at Adrenaline motorsports in CAve Springs missouri. 85 dollars and you get three pulls there is about 4 of us going up there so far.
