Yes.

(1) Because I love them.

(2) Because I should have a custom set of 8-lug 22.5s by then with a super single in the rear, and

(3) Because they are the only wheels and tires I have![coffee]

they might hurt you a little or maybe a lot in different areas.

It shouldn't hurt much at all actually. THe Front wheels will weigh a little more than stock, but the rears will weigh less than stock because it will be 1 wheel and 1 tire instead of 2 wheels and 2 tires per side which will mean less unsprung weight. In fact, if all goes well, it should help.

Okay this is not True "black chrome". If you are having a translucent black powder coat done on a Chrome wheel you are still doing a simulated black chrome.

There is a true Black Chrome. It is done during the chroming process and is actually a different nickel type finished used to give it the color it has. It is much more xpensive then regular chroming. It is becoing more popular and thus more metal finisher are offering it so the price is coming down.

I know there are a few places here in So Cali that do offer it.

That's what I thought, but all 11 of the companies (I was trying to find out who could do it the fastest) I contacted who do "Black Chrome" all said that the way it is done is how I described.

I will try to get the names of a few companies out this way that do. I think there are a couple in Las Vegas as well. I will check into it and see.

WOW! Where did you find those!??!?! Yes, similar in the sense that they would be super singles. Different in two areas. (1) those are 10-lug wheels which means they need heavy adapters like my current ones, and (2) I am doing a different, deeper lug rear tire (as well as front).

That, and your truck doesn't look that bad.

Did you ever make it to the dyno, or did I miss that post?
