It's a little tough for a dead stop burnout with a 6 speed DRW. I usually roll through some water or on wet roads to make it a little easier to power brake.

Dry pavement I haven't been able to do yet, clutching is tricky and just a little hard to do with that kind of traction. I'm sure it's a lot easier for the auto guys.

A line lock would be the best way to do a dually burnout. Those rear disk brakes dont like to be powerbraked.

yes but anyone can put a auto into drive push down the gas and brake to the floor and burnout....... even a gasser a 6 speed would be harder because ud have to pop the clutch then slam on the brake. do you try it with your edge on 5?

ive attempted once on dry pavement and well i smelt clutch afterwards so no more for me, a lil roll through water and slip of the clutch and hit the go pedal and i can spin the tires fairly (sp?) easy. i got a good fish tail a couple times. i was on loop 360 in austin and had to make a turn to head back to 290 west, pulled to the light to hang a left and i rolled on to the moist pavement and as i was shifting to third i let the clutch out a lil to hard and i leaned into the loud pedal next thing ya know the rearend is in the other lane in stead of letting off, i feathered it a lil and cleared traffic behind me and it corrected itself, almost somthing graceful and i was on my merry way

I can chirp them on dry pavement. Wet roads, easy to break them loose.

Tried power braking on my 04 dually I take off in 2 nd gear and I would just slide the front tires.

This is what i found that worked for me had my 32 ft stock trailer with six cows in the back comparment. lock the trailer brakes put the TST on 9/9 (you don't move anywhere ) you get 4 tires in back smoken.

I can lay rubber for 150 feet anytime I want. But I don't try to "brake stand". When Drag racing, build the boost to 10psi with the brakes on and go. If I wasn't in 4wd the tires would be gone pretty soon. and i'm a little SO. ks
