Ehh. I just put mine in park and let it run. Been doing it for 105,234 miles with no issues.

Why wouldn't DTT's vb do that?

All the others do, I believe... My guy used a Trans-go kit and it does pump in Park...

DTT Valve body 05

I like to cool the trans down while the turbo cools also, when you have a load on the back and you shut the oil flow off in park not saying it will hurt the trans but just nice to know your flowing fluid thru it and cooling it down some. they told me because of line pressure they shut the flow off in park beats me. now I am getting T.C. drain back before (stock trans ) I did not. Same T.C. before valve body so now it has morring sickness have to put it in N few Sec. before going to drive. How I figured it out I checked the Level in park and it was high pulled it into N and the level went down so I called DTT and they said on the 05 trucks thats the way it has to be because of line pressure. If you want to shut the oil flow off to your trans before it cools some be my guest just was a heads up if you have an 05 (Truck) DTT valve body

No because since it's in park there's nothing heating the fluid up. But at the same time it's not going to cool off either cause it's not pumping. Whatever temp it's at when you put it in park it's going to stay there.
