dress up pics
i took my plastic valvecover piece off my truck and painted it white to match my truck and did the cummins 24 valve lettering in red cheap and pretty neat looking too ill have to get some pics up on here
I'd like to see that also, I think the white would look good on my truck. My cover is in need of a good touch up aswell, the "C" logo is starting to peel pretty bad at 74k miles.
I would love to have a billet cover, I seen one before that had a cummins logo and lettering on it, but I think it was upwards of 500 bucks. Just a little too much for me seeing that there are tons of other stuff I would buy for the truck before that.
I just painted mine Flame Red, sanded the "C" off it, and stuck an OEM Cummins badge in it's place. Nothing fancy, just a little different from others...

RatherBeMuddin- That looks fantastic. I have a couple of questions for you. When you painted the cover you just sprayed right over the original flat black? Also what did you use to stick on the "C" logo, just plain ol adhesive tape? One more question, what kind of paint did you use to spray it?
Here's a little blue paint.....
Here is my valve cover & custom torque tube painted blue to match my truck.....I like it....What do you guys think??
