SO, let me get this right. A Pac Brake will give you the ability to have engine braking & run an air horn at the same time??

Are there any NEGATIVES running a Pac Brake??

 

yes on the accessory air, no on the negatives.

there are other compressed air powered brakes on the market. i have only had the pac, and have been happy with it since the box arrived via ups in 1 day. the wife freaked about the purchase price until we towed out travel trailer to yellowstone 3 weeks after i installed it, and then she was much more comfortable with towing, since the service brakes are rarely touched.

 

Does it make that cool "Jake Brake" sound??

 

i does make a growling sound out the intake with each stroke, not a distinct as the semi jake brake, but most people in cars or pedestrians do look for the peterbuilt pulling up to the light. especially with an aftermarket intake.
