If I install the EGT probe prior to the Turbo, will DC try to void the warranty on everything downstream from the probe (TURBO)

A service manager told me no, pre-turbo will not void the warranty. EXCEPT, if the tip comes off the pyro and trashes out the turbo, then the turbo is not covered.

never had problems with the dealer and the pyro mounting, they gave the same explaination as mikey said, but they will get curious as to why you are mounting gauges.... such as a box etc....

 

I got the same explanation from my dealer. He said they can't void the engine warranty based on something that was installed in the exhaust, essentially it has no effect on the engine. Same thing about the turbo though. If it gets destroyed due to something with the probe... Not Covered.
